Please be aware that there is a current scam that involves a fraudulent text message from a “financial institution” related to debit cards. A text message will be sent to someone’s cell phone, stating that it is coming from their financial institution and will refer to one’s debit card being on the verge of getting blocked or something similar. It will also go on to request the debit card number and pin for some kind of verification.

Please know that L&N will never text you and request account number or card number. If you receive a similar text on you cell phone, delete immediately!
