A savings account at L&N Federal Credit Union is your savings in the credit union. There is a required minimum of $5.00 to establish your account. This is what makes you eligible for all of the services the credit union offers.

Once your account is established, you can remain a member for life and immediate family members become eligible to join the credit union. Immediate family is defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild, stepparents, stepchildren, stepsibling and adoptions. Household members are also eligible and are defined as people living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.

Deposits to savings can be made in person, by payroll deduction, direct deposit, or by mail. You will have 24-hour access to your savings account by internet, phone, or automated teller machine.

Dividends are earned daily and paid quarterly. Current market rates determine the dividends your savings account earns.
