The credit union will be closed beginning Saturday, September 30th through Monday, October 2nd. This closure is necessary for a required system update. During this time frame, Internet/Mobile Banking and DAISY (automated phone teller) will be unavailable. Your L&N Debit Card and/or L&N Credit Card will be available to use for purchases and at ATM’s.
 
For additional information on services that may be impacted or unavailable please see the chart and FAQs below. On Tuesday, October 3rd all branches will reopen, and access to Internet/Mobile Banking, DAISY and additional services will be restored.

General Information

Why is L&N closing from September 30th - October 2nd?

In order to continue providing our members the best products and services available, we will be closed for a few days to complete a required system update.  When we reopen on Tuesday, October 3rd, you will bank with us as you would normally do, but behind the scenes, we will have improved our service capabilities.


Will my L&N Member/Account number change?

Your L&N Member/Account number will remain the same. After our system update, you will notice on your statements, transaction receipts, in DAISY, and Internet/Mobile Banking that your subaccounts will now contain leading zeros and be a 4-digit number. Ex. Your savings account that was previously 1 or 01 will reflect as 0001; similarly, your checking account that was previously account number 2 or 22, will reflect as 0002 or 0022 after our system update.


Will my L&N Debit Card work while you are closed?

Your L&N Debit Card will continue to work and be available to use for purchases.


Will ATM’s be available?

Your L&N Debit or ATM Card may be used at any L&N ATM or our surcharge-free network of ATM’s to withdraw cash.


Will my L&N VISA Credit Card work while you are closed?

Your L&N VISA Credit Card will continue to be available to use for purchases.


During the closure will I have access to L&N Internet Banking or the Mobile App?

Internet Banking and the Mobile App will be unavailable during the closure.  For Additional information on services that you may utilize in Internet/Mobile Banking, that may be impacted please visit our Internet & Mobile Banking FAQ’s.


Will I have access to DAISY during the closure?

DAISY will be unavailable Friday, September 29th, from 6:00 P.M. (EST) through Monday, October 2nd. You will notice improvements and a few changes to the phone prompts after our system update. Upon first calling DAISY after the system update, you will be required to enter your member number, social security number or tax ID, and establish an access code. You may use your previous access code if desired.


Will my direct deposit arrive on time?

Your direct deposit will arrive as scheduled and be deposited to your account.


Will scheduled payments, ACH debits, and transfers be affected during the system update?

Your recurring or previously scheduled payments and transfers will be processed as usual.  If you need to make a payment or transfer to occur during September 30th - October 2nd , please schedule it in advance, (before September 30th )  so we can process it for you.


Will my loans be impacted?

There will be no impact to your loans during the closure. If you need to advance funds from your Cash Express Loan or a Home Equity Line of Credit, please contact us in advance, (before September 30th) so we can assist you in advancing the funds.


Internet & Mobile Banking

Internet Banking and the Mobile App will be unavailable during the closure.  Additional information on services that you may utilize in Internet/Mobile Banking that will be impacted is below.  Your Login credentials will remain the same.


Debit Card Alerts & Controls -Access to Debit Cards Alerts and Controls will be unavailable Friday, September 29th, from 6:00 P.M. (EST) through Monday, October 2ndAs a best practice, we encourage our members who use Debit Card Alerts and Controls ensure their L&N Debit Card is set in their desired status.  If you would like to turn your card off or on during the closure or make changes to the type of alerts you receive, you will need to do this before 6:00 P.M. (EST) on Friday, September 29th.


Bill Pay will be unavailable Thursday, September 28th, from 5:00 P.M. (EST) through Monday, October 2nd.  Any scheduled payments will be processed as usual. If you would like to schedule or edit a payment, you will need to do this before 5:00 P.M. (EST) on Thursday, September 28th.


Scheduled Transfers- Your ability to schedule a transfer will be unavailable starting Thursday, September 28th, at 5:00 P.M. (EST) through Monday October, 2nd. If you need to schedule or edit a transfer, please ensure it is done before Thursday, September 28th, at 5:00 P.M. (EST).


Scheduled Transfers Within Your L&N Membership – Transfers scheduled for Friday, September 29th, or before will process normally. Any transfer scheduled during the closure will process once the system update is complete.

Scheduled Transfers to Other L&N Memberships or External Accounts will be unavailable Thursday, September 28th, at 5:00 P.M. (EST) through Tuesday, October 3rd. Transfers to other L&N Memberships or external accounts that are reoccurring or scheduled for after October 3rd will need to be reestablished in Internet or Mobile Banking due to a system update.

Share Access with Others - If you utilize Share Access with others, you will need to grant access to any Share Access Users you’ve previously given authorization after Monday, October 2nd.  Click here for more instructions.

Money Management will be unavailable Thursday, September 28th, from 5:00 P.M. (EST) through Monday, October 2nd. 


Direct Connect/Account Aggregation- The account aggregate feature will be unavailable Friday, September 29th from 6:00 P.M. (ET) through Monday, October 2nd. We anticipate no connectivity issues for Direct Connect and Web Connect users. Express Web Connect will not be available until Tuesday, October 10th. To get started click the appropriate link: Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online, Quicken.


Business Accounts

Share Access with Others - If you utilize Share Access with others, you will need to grant access to any Share Access Users you’ve previously given authorization after Monday, October 2nd. Click here for more instructions.


Direct Connect/Account Aggregation- The account aggregate feature will be unavailable Friday, September 29th from 6:00 P.M. (ET) through Monday, October 2nd. We anticipate no connectivity issues for Direct Connect and Web Connect users. Express Web Connect will not be available until Tuesday, October 10th.
