Text Alerts & Notifications

SMS Banking allows users to receive balance and transactional data via a short text command. For example; text the letters BAL to 454545 and receive the current and available balances for your primary account securely over to your cell phone.

Most Popular text Commands:

BAL – Receive the current and available balance on your primary account
LAST5 – Lists the five most recent transactions on the primary account
HELP – Lists all available commands and descriptions

Getting Started Step By Step:

Internet Banking
  • Go to www.lnfcu.com and log in to Internet Banking.
  • Click Additional Services, then Alerts & Notifications.
  • Click the Activate button. Enter your cell phone number in the space provided, check the Terms & Conditions, and click Next.
  • You will receive an activation code to your cell phone.
  • Enter your activation code in the space provided and click next.
  • From the drop-down menus, select your Primary Account and Transfer Source.
  • Customize your SMS Alerts* and click finish!

L&N Mobile App

  • Log into the L&N Mobile App.
  • Tap More, Settings, and lastly My Settings.
  • Swipe to the bottom of the page, and tap Alert & Notifications.
  • Tap the Activate button. Enter your cell phone number in the space provided, check the Terms & Conditions box, and click Next.
  • You will be sent an activation code to your cell phone.
  • Enter your activation code in the space provided and click next.
  • From the drop-down menus, select your Primary Account and Transfer Source.
  • Customize your SMS Alerts* and click finish!

This service is free of charge, but standard carrier fees for text messaging may apply. Please check with your wireless carrier if you aren’t sure what fees apply when you send and receive text messages.
